(Well here goes, first time making any sort of post on the steam forums, sorry if this isn't in the right place.) So the last AC game I played was Syndicate. While I enjoyed it, the story underwhelmed me in a lot of ways. I really loved the setting, the main characters, and I connected well with Jacob Frye, but the main story's ending felt a bit flat to me, tpo the point that I didn't even NG+ in W3 is handled very differently than NG+ in Origins. In Origins, you can be maxed at level 55, as are the enemies. The quests are still at their original levels, so a level 12 quest in the first run is still level 12 in NG+. Makes for a pretty easy time when your Bayek is level 55. Assassin’s Creed Origins does, in fact, have a modern day story that has players take control of Layla Hassan, an Abstergo employee who wants nothing more than to be part of the Animus Project rO8F.
